Yes. By default Crit only reads your code to learn your Standard and only posts review comments. Writing fixes as commits is a separate mode you switch on per repo, every other repo stays read-only.

Never. Your code and screenshots are used only to produce your review, then deleted on your retention schedule. They never train any model.
